Bachelor of Learning Management (Primary Education) @ CQU

reviewed on April 27, 2014

I started my degree in 2013 straight after finishing highschool. I chose to attend a local university in the city I live in (Rockhampton). I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at CQU and love the atmosphere. All the staff are very friendly and have helped with my studies loads. I've enjoyed my experience at CQU so much so that I have become a student ambassador to promote our local campus and the courses we offer. As part of my degree, we are able to work in schools very early in our course and get heaps of hands on experience. One of my favorite experiences has been working at Arts in the Park at our local Botanical Gardens (picture below).

Bachelor of Business (Marketing Management) @ CQU

I am a second year student studied in Business Management majoring in Marketing. Throughout my first year I was able to experience a satisfactory level of teaching on campus, however living in the regional town of Mackay there is no campus spirit or interactions. Now I am in my second year of my course and I am forced to take my courses externally as the University has had some serious budget cut backs. Therefore I have to pay the same HEX as a normal student would who is studying on a normal campus and has full access to teaching facilities. Despite all of this I do still enjoy my University as it has taught me to self-motivate myself.
