BSc (Hons) Management and Marketing @ Essex

I love my Uni! Although it is not a very big campus (Colchester), it has all it needs, restaurants, campus shop, post office, club, art gallery, sports centre and plenty of relaxing spaces for students to chill!

Essex is very diverse, you can see many different faces everywhere. The uni also offers many opportunities for different cultural societies to promote their countries, traditional food and dances.

I am studying in the business school and I absolutely loved it, all the staffs are very approachable and friendly. The lecture materials are interesting along with real life examples. Though deadlines can be a little tight, in some months, we get at least one essay per week, which means non-stop working. Yet the university does provide a lot of academic and employability help for students, which I find them very useful.

One other thing that I love about Essex is that it has something called Just Play, where they offer different sports classes everyday, so that we can meet new people and have a go at different activities, e.g fencing, kick-boxing, dancing, climbing and ice-skating.

Some of the accommodations are really nice, especially the South Courts, the rooms are nice and quiet with private bathrooms. The Towers are slightly smaller, usually have around 10 people (?) per flat, so if you are an out-going person, towers will be the accommodation for you :) Meadows and the Quays are 15 minutes away walk from the campus, they are similar to South Courts but slightly newer and more colourful. There is a Domino just 3 minutes walk away from the Quays! And finally, House is the quietest accommodation, a little old but very peaceful to live it.

Hopefully you will find this useful :)
