MSc International Primary Health Care @ Queen Mary

Campus are spread over a large area which makes it difficult to socialize with students in other department. On top of that, social activities organized by Union or university are a few.

But, the university is proactive to host a talk relevant to the subject. The talkers come from various field and the contents are worth listening.

Studying at UTS is fun, we have wonderful lecturers and tutors whom could help as much as they can when you just simply send them an email with your questions. Fun as in you could enjoy your uni life at UTS with a bunch of uni activities almost everyday, entertainment such as basketball, table tennis and even karaoke is hold in the UTS club once a week. We get to know a lot of nice and friendly people across the world and communication is not a problem. Thankful that I got into UTS and hopefully UTS will bring us more surprises.

BA (Hons) English and Drama @ Queen Mary

I have found some great teachers here ; very thorough explanations, a lot of help and knowledge on the subjects. It has great campus facilities, all services are here to help you: from library, health centre, advice and counselling to laundry, gym, village shop, cafe and bar. We have a really beautiful and cosy campus with a Regents Canal, Mile End park and Victoria just across the road. Easily connected via the Central, District and Hammersmith and City Line, also 24 hours buses like the 25 to Oxford Circus. There is newly opened bar, the New Globe, just next to uni, and Drappers, the only negative part about it is the sticky floor. You can find awesome people there. Also, the Student Union is very helpful and can provide info on almost everything.

It is a bit inconvenient that my course's modules taught at holborn while other main facilities are at mile end campus. Other than this is good, i enjoy this time :)

I was an associate student at QM for one year 2012/13, the good points are the welcome of qm, it is near from some London turistic points (zone 2), as it was an aditional year I could choose the modules to study. The not so good point, I had problems to acess the lab classes, I lose at least one lab of each class to be able to log on the qm pc's and join the classes, I came from a uni that have interactive boards at the classrooms and qm have only some projectors, the labs doesn't have division all the pcs are togethe, I had problems with the residences, that had a key of our rooms and feel free to come in and out of our houses without previews advice, they knock at the door once, if you don't open, they came in to your room, and with the fire alarm ringing at the 1 or 2 am, the campus has many rats (it is a quite common at london) and a once one came into my kitchen, the uni took 3 weeks to take it out. It is a good uni, overrall, but I wouldn't live there. During the summer I joined a research group as a intern, and I liked, the groups have topics up-to-date, and the access and labs for research are really good, althought the social life during summer is a bit bad!
