International Banking and Finance @ Strathclyde

reviewed on May 11, 2015

The University of Strathclyde is located at the heart of the Glasgow City centre which makes it easy to reach out for anything in need. Being a university so diverse in the students they accept it is a great opportunity to understand various cultures and traditions. The lifestyle is easily adjustable to. The course is quiet demanding but recognised all around the world. The teaching faculty is quiet experienced and is always ready to answer our queries.
I surely will recommend the university to other students. The place and atmosphere is great!

Education Master of Education Cousnselling in Education @ Strathclyde

reviewed on May 9, 2014

I learned a lot in this course. Skills that will be carried with throughout my career. I just wish there were a couple more classes concerning working with higher education students and more rigorous assessment of counseling skills. Possibly being supervised while counseling and getting critiqued afterwards.

MSc International Marketing @ Strathclyde

reviewed on December 9, 2013

An eye opening course where more than half of the classmates came from all different parts of the world. A truly international experience and exposure.
The course structure was comprehensive and I felt I learnt more from working at the dissertation as there was a lot of research required. This helped me to widen my horizon and challenged my own understanding to think more critically and in depth.
Financial Times were supplied as part of the course and it helped to reinforce the knowledge and bridge the gap between theory and practical operations in the world.
Staff at the University were extremely warm and friendly and they bothered to know everyone by name. That's a very good culture where everyone knows everyone. It makes learning enjoyable, and truly worth the experience.

MSc International Marketing @ Strathclyde

It was great to have so many internationals in the course. The teaching was good and the mix of group work with exams was excellent too.

The course started with a weekend of excellent team building activities in the Scottish highlands which was a great experience for all.

MSc Business Analysis and Consulting @ Strathclyde

reviewed on November 8, 2013

The teaching was good, the school gets some world-class professors in their field. The only problem is that they are too busy doing their own research and sometimes we could not get access to them or getting the feedback very late. My only problem is that sometimes the workload seems to be too much. Imagine you have to deal with 4 deadlines in 1 week. On the one hand, it's good for preparing a future career in professional service but on the other hand, it may drive you crazy sometimes.
Strathclyde Uni has an extensive amount of social clubs, ranging from sports such as tennis to professions such as finance or accounting. The campus is in the city center, very convenient and even though the library is not as big as some other uni's but its extensive collection and long service hour (from 7 till midnite and 24/7 during exam period) served me well.
