Founded in the 1960s, the University of Sussex long had a reputation as the home of left-wing ideology and political thinking. In recent times, with the establishment of more business degrees and substantial growth in funding for its sciences programmes, Sussex has begun to shake off this image. The university is now considered a modern university with an excellent reputation across all subject areas.

Located on a beautiful campus approximately 15 minutes from Brighton's city centre and less than an hour from London, Sussex is a top choice for international students.
