Bachelor of Education (Primary) @ UTAS

It is my first year at Uni and I was psyching myself up for a really confronting experience. On the contrary; Uni, so far, has been a welcoming and comfortable environment. It has been challenging enough, but not so much that it is confusing. I also managed to make some awesome new friends, which is always a plus.

The teachers have been really helpful and welcoming. They encourage us without being overbearing. They are reliable and accountable, in regards to online communication.

Social aspects of Uni life has been surprisingly comfortable. While I love talking to people, I am hugely shy, however the other students whom I have spoken to at Uni have been nothing but nice, which is a breath of fresh air from high school and college.

The campus, while being bigger than any of my previous schools, is small enough that even I (someone who has the capacity to get lost in my own home) haven't gotten lost yet. At least, not so far. Give me time..

Overall, I have so far had a really positive University experience. :)

It has been ok but as I am not on the maim campus we miss out on a lot as it all happen is Hobart. I fell we get the second at everything we are there second thought when people think of utas. We are the last to know about stuff we get video lectures from Hobart and when they are not on we are last to know, as they can't find teachers to be hear sowe get it via Hobart . This year I have a first year lecture who is teaching us programming who is teaching algorithms for second years. He doesn't know C which is the language that is based on or anything about algorithms. He is trying and he tyres his best to help us and its not his fault that he got this class with hi, only finding out he was teaching it 2 weeks before the first day of classes. The people who are in Launcestion are amazing and are willing to help but offen they have to go through Hobart. I love getting to know the people I study with and I wish there were groups on campers that I could join like there is in Hobart to help get to know people, yet there is not. However we make the best with what we have got which at times is just some good friends and a joke with the lecture as we get through our 9;00 classes.

I really enjoy studying in UTAS. I have a great experience to communicate with local and internation students. Moreover, I'm joining the cooking club on Campus as well. I love to study in here.
