Bmus (Hons) Music @ Wolverhampton

reviewed on March 7, 2014

I have really enjoyed my experience at university so far. I have met some great friends and my music knowledge and theory has vastly improved, along with my instrumental skill. My only issues with my course have been the numerous strikes; I have driven the 18 mile journey from my house to campus to find my lectures cancelled. Other than that, the only other improvement I can think of would be to involve more performances in our lectures as we spend a lot of time sat in lecture rooms. Also some lecturers have a tendency to be too harsh when judging our instrumental performances, which coincidentally affects confidence. A more constructive teaching approach should be used.

BSc (Hons) Computer Science @ Wolverhampton

reviewed on December 10, 2013

I've been studying here for almost 3 years and I had an amazing experience. Lectures are quite supportive and always answer to our feedback to improve our understanding. I studied at city campus which is a bit busy to me but other campuses like walsall and telford they are awesome. Walsall is for sport and telford is for engineering . The setting at the school provided a good atmosphere for those major which bases there.

MSc International Business Management @ Wolverhampton

reviewed on November 13, 2013

There is a dramatically changed my life after graduated my MA in UK in terms of life, education, and work experiences.

In UK life, it taught me a lot about how to live my life abroad. In this case, I had to live my own without depending on other. For example, i have to cook which i never cooked before when i was in Cambodia. on the other hand, weather is one of most terrible thing to me at first.
However, i was getting used to it after 3 months, and i turned out to love UK afterward. Anyway, I'm so proud of myself to achieve my biggest challenge in life to live independently, which I've never expected my life that hard.

In education, the UK education standard is very high comparing to Cambodia. I found the assignment was so hard for me because I had to complete 3 or 4 assignments in 3 weeks. It was approximately 3000-6000 words per one assignment. However, the assignments pressure kept pushing me to try harder from day to day, and finally I became one of the good students in class. Therefore, persistent is the key issue in life.

In working experiences, I had been working at Maybank London as Loan proposal for 6 months after graduated from Wolverhampton. The working system in UK is very similar to what I used to work in Maybank Cambodia. I think there is nothing much to say about this.

Hopefully, what I can share above will help all young learners who want to pursue their education abroad.
